Dr. Houston Heflin is the founder and director of Prepare To Grow ministries. This spring marks the end of 8 years at the Richardson East Church of Christ as he transitions to work full-time on faculty at Abilene Christian University. He is a member of the North American Professors of Christian Education,  the Association of Youth Ministry Educators, and the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality.  He is also the author of the book “Youth Pastor: The Theology and Practice of Youth Ministry” published by Abingdon Press and available at this link.
